Did you switch of the pc leaving the monitor on and switched on the pc after about a minute then trying to go into safe mode? Try it if you did then your power supply of the monitor is failing which will cost way way way less to service than buying a new one * +

Nah whenever i close the pc i just switch off the power so neither monitor nor cpu is on. As for goin in safe mode that's gonna be hard with no display ? The thing is that even when i unplug my monitor from the cpu it no longer displays the message that the monitor is not connected to cpu or anythin at all, just stays blank. So somethin is wrong with the monitor is for certain. *
