Okay so outta the blue my monitor stopped workin today. The power light just keeps blinkin and no display. It can't be the ram as i hear my windows booting up so i think either my monitor is gone or my graphic card is dead . Another thing i noticed is when i unplug my monitor from my cpu the screen no longer displays the message that it's not connected, it basically just stays blank now. * +

its the monitor. try turning the pc on and letting windows boot, then turn the monitor on. do you hear a click as you hit the button like a static discharge? if so then its the power board/powerbrick in the monitor. (lcd)... powering on after windows boots may actualy start the monitor working. my old hanns-g did that, i got it replaced as it was a standard fault because it was such a cheap model * +

maybe google your model and see if you can find others that have the same problem and see if they managed to wngle a replacement out of the manufacturer. i did as my monitor was only 18 months old. * +

I hear no clicks apparently, it just keeps blinkin the power button and nothing no display. Well mines a samsung wasn't exactly cheap but it's being running a good 5 year or so now. Guess i'll buy a new one then :/ * +

Just press a button on the keyboard. If still no picture look for the source button press it then press any key on the keyboard. If still no picture you have set it to a refresh rate it can't handle. Press auto adjust and fix the refresh rate in windows by setting it to 60mhz first * +

so theres nothing wrong with it it either set itself into power saving mode or you accidentally set a high refresh rate that's all * +

I have already looked those things up in the manual red and tried them but no result it still stays just blank as it's outta warranty now might as well get a new one as i'm guessing repairin it won't be exactly cheap * +
