yes but the 4890 uses more power and doesnt support dx11. if you dont want dx11 then you may aswell go for an nvidia card. and get physx instead. * +

as for being slower than a 4890. not by a huge amount less than 2 percent avg and at only 10 pounds or so less id rather get the extra features of dx11 if i was planning on cf down the line. *
