I just wanted to ask. that if you lock your pc while a download is on with the standard way of locking it. That is the windows logo and than the L key. Is there anyway someone can access your pc without the password and see what your downloading? Swap monitors etc *i know. stupid. But i have to ask. I am a complete numpty with pc's.* There is no guest accounts on the pc and its an windows Xp. Please can anyone tell me if its possible for someone to see what youre downloading? Is your user account password protected? If so that makes it very difficult for anyone to see what your downloading * +

not realy. the only way is to boot into safe mode and use admin account (if it has one) but doing so will stop the download anyway * +

If they booted into safe mode they would first have to restart the pc, thus cancelling the download. It will be safe to lock the pc. Just hope no one has your password or is another admin on it * +
