fellaz,one of my laptops has a problem. Here is it;due to power outage,my laptop goes off,so it goes of witout appropriate shutdown,and each time i put it on,it shows d MICROSOFT CORPORATION and it takes time to display d 'enter password' window. After the password input it takes up to an hour plus to display my desktop environment..plz fellaz,what is d cause and d solution.thnks * +

Open My Computer. Right click your mouse on the drive in which you want CHKDSK to run ( usually c drive). Click the Properties button and click the Tools tab. In the Error-checking box, click the Check Now button. 2 Set up the Check Disk options by checking one or both check boxes displayed. * +
