ok in a total idiot when it comes to my pc. mostly just surf the net. my problem is when i try view video it tells me i need to upgrade my flash player to adobe 10.1. i manage to download but get msg saying failed to instal. does not say why. tried to download the no.9 . something but it just let me select 10.1. tried to find flash player on my pc to delete it and start from scratch. not found. * +

i got the stupid vista ultimate on my pc. also have a plug in to download video from my camcorder to my pc. could this this affect flash player * +

No it will not . Try uninstalling it from add remove and try downloading full set up package not that setup wizard from adobe with its useless toolbarsk * +

i had the same issue with mine . seems kaspersky firewall didnt want me to install it . all i did was exit it and install the update . i really couldnt be arsed to fix the problem properly * +

copy the md5's from filehippo, spoof your user agent to show linux, manually select the windows version (both separately). dl them and verify files with the md5 hashes. * +

old versions are not available for DL due to security reasons. always use the latest available. use http://www.adobe.com/software/flash/about/ to check. PS. you can also just dl from FH but the long way allows you to cross-verify the file integrity. * +

thanks for advise. i dont follow what i must do? ok here is what i tried. i removed the flash player 10 from programs. then tried to get on net with samsung pc studio as use cell as modem. it would not open the studio. error msg . it needed the flash player or part of it to operate. did a system restore and am now bk to square one. will try figure out what you have explained * +
