you download installer file, run installer file (as admin or say yes to uac when prompted). it doesn't even ask anything else, or maybe language then it's done. browsers can't be open when it's done. there are 2 versions: internet explorer and others. even if you don't use IE you might want to eihter keep it updated or don't install that one at all. *
