What you are curious about is a version of windows made for a computer manufacturer that is licenced . It will often be seen as oem ibm or some other company . On bittorrent sites those versions often come with a rootkit that will turn your pc into a zombie . * +

Original equipment manufacturer, basicaly its a title for shop built pc stock. legaly you cant buy oem operating systems, you have to be a registered pc builder but a shop can do that for you so they can then sell you the o.s. hardware wise it just means shop stock or none packaged stock. like oem cpu's often come without a heatsync or user manuals, they still have guarentees but only with the * +
