thanks i have checked this out, but is really much use to me, wat i need is something that is going to send off an email to me whenever my pc was issued the shut down command from within windows, example i am at work and my brother shuts down the pc, but before it does the pc will send off an email to me telling me it was issued a shut down command, *

No I guess in normal personal windows. But this option is their in windows server 08 edition . When server shutsdown an message is sent to mail if configured *
