I have an Acer 5630 an have the following problems.please help if u can? - After login before my desktop appears I get a black screen with mouse pointer? An stays like that for a minute or so?.Also my laptop keeps turnin itself off.how do I find out if its charger.battery or something else? Thank you * +

rolls eyes, why does eveyone on here always think pirate copy, also trial period ending wont turn a pc off, when it ends it just refuses to allow login until registered. * +

anyway, Acer/emachines are known for bloatware in there built in os instalation, firstly id reccomend getting your hands on a instalation disc for the os you have and use the key on the base of the laptop and reinstal the os, this will get rid of all the cr*pware. * +

if the problem continues, it sounds like the system is over heating etc and powering down, but invest in a new charger as it could be that, take to a pc repair shop, they can test the charger for a small fee * +

can you get into safe mode? as it sounds like a software time out ... if you can enter the admin tools, event viewer. aplication and system logs. see if something is causing the fail, if you can find it then remove it and reboot. * +
