...hi guys...our network Safaricom is setting up a 4G Network to be lauched in the 1Q of 2011...i want to knw the best 4G Modems so that i can buy one...i dont want 2 wait for their branded modem since they ripped us off with their 3G Modems. * +

they did the same in the UK, my first t-mobile one cost 75 pound and had to pay 30 pound for a month of internet, now there 20 pound and come with a month free * +

its faster, first there was gprs, then 2g, 2.5g,3g then hspda which is 3.5g aprox, 4g is suposed to be lots faster * +

It is about capacity. But 4G should end up with a bunch of benefits if done properly, not least of all one main issue IMO anyway with 3G isnt raw bandwidth but trash latency, even if you are stationary. However, 4G has the potential to cut that massively * +
