Hi i hav downloaded avast antivirus home 4.5 from brothersoft site and received licence key after registeration which is for ver 4.8 or 5.0. this lincese key is not working with ver 4.5. i also downloaded 4.8 from brothersoft but tht was currupt. Pls tell me will this license key ll work with 4.8 ver or i hv to reregister for 4.8 and from whr to download 4.8 ver which will work. * +

4.5 is no longer suported by avast, v5 is the latest and there is no reg key, you just reg product from the program its self * +

Please can any one knowledgabe on Antivirus help me!!! I inserted my external HDD- 300G on a friends laptop that uses Avast antivirus only for me to be denied access to all folders in the drive. It shows just folder shortcuts but the drive details still shows that I have over 189G of files inside. PLS HOW CAN I RECOVER ALL MY FILES??? :-( could it be virus on my friend's laptop or Avast reacting? * +

right click on my computer. Disk management then give it a drive letter. Then right click on it in explorer and add permissions for it or tick the share box. Are you running as a admin? * +
