Hi guys i'm using gmail on my outlook on windows 7 and the account there is only pop3 and it always keeps asking for the gmail's password even though its stored in the profile and i tried changing it from gmail to googlemail but its still requires the password,how can i make it to not require a password everytime? And how can i use imap settings? * +

Outlook ? I thought Windows 7 only had windows live only . I did a search on my phone and can only find people wondering where outlook had gone . Correct me if I am wrong , please . * +

Correction marson,i'm using outlook 2007 and Gmail has both pop3 and Imap and i'm currently using pop3 which i don't like and my isp is Vodacom. * +

I did some searching and found a lot of complaints like yours . You can call your Vodacom customer service to see if they can help . But if not then you are out of luck . Not all ISP's are created equal . * +

And do you already have a POP3 email account ? Like , username@vodacom.com . If not call customer service and have an account set up . Outlook can only migrate that gmail , not set it up . * +
