..hi guys...i receive alot of spams frm unknown sources into my gmail box...last month i have deleted over 6,000 spam msgs...no i have 4,200 again...how do i stop spams into my mail,..i report them to no avail...thanx * +

6000 spam emails? Are you sure that all these are from the last month, and not from the last.....century?

An ex-lover or maybe a trickster sibling would be my best bet . Have you tried contacting Gmail security or whatever they call it . I am sure they can provide some guidence on how to resolve this issue . Think of all the bandwidth and storage space that spam hogs up . * +

don't publish your e-mail in random places. Also DO NOT respond to any spam saying 'plz don't send them' because you will only confirm to spammers that you actually saw them. Also determine the origin of spam, what types of sites and offers send you stuff. It could also be that someone who had you on contact list got infected or something. (in case you keep your mail fairly hidden but still got spammed) * +
