I asked as it is used by one of the biggest university corporations in the UK so I wondered if it was any good or if they had just gone for the cheap option. for the Macs. They use F-Secure for their windows pc. I will take a look at that link jaymack many thanks. * +

Biggest security comes from competence. 
also you can't compare corporate security and home security because the system admin(s) is responsible for maintaining it or they might even have separate person(nel) to handle maintaining security where the AV/FWs are just a visible part of it. also schools and companies get lots of deals etc. * +
