Komodo is better than zone alarms free version. The paid version firewall is on the other bit better. But Komodo internet security is good * +

Zone alarm free is better for blocking malicous programs on your pc from accessing the internet . That is not truly a firewall . Though zone alarm pro is supposed to very good though . * +

I'll recommend zonealarm since is has high ability to block both outgoing and incoming threat. And it also has fewer pop ups and is not so technical to use even for a computer novice unlike others... * +

that is just an option thats enabled by default. zonealarm was on my old system for 2+ years in most cases it was good but did let me down 2 times. 1s due to a microsoft update and it was a pain in the as* sometimes when configuring utorrent. oftem blocking udp accsess unnesisarily... both easy problems to fix but a pain none the less. * +
