I have an old motorola iden phone . Sometimes I get police transmissions over my direct connect ptt functions . I asked a motorola tech whats was up and he said the radios and my phone used the same technology and the same encryption codes were bound to be duplicated every now and then. * +

Police radios are like cellphones, they now use a service provider like voda, its no longer easy to scan such network *
