so there i was googling when i got wind that opera 10.61 has been released. decided to give it a test drive and its by far the fastest browser. FF comes close but the speed of Opera blew me away. After i dump Opera for FF they come with a faster version... irritating to say the least. Anyways for those in need of speed while browsing/surfing the net should check it out. * +

i thought it was always between chrome and FF although with the introduction of version 10 Opera was saying its the fastest browser on earth. And apparently those claims were not far off. I think Safari just looks dull. * +

opera,besides speed,needs to fix a lot of bugs like the annoying page has moved error,blank tabs and other stuff that made me dump opera for firefox.oh,and firefox supports addons which increase the range of functionality-blocking ads,urls,one click toogling of javascript,flash,images,its even faster in 4.0b so i honestly dont get it how can opera be better besides the shortcuts and the interface * +

yeah,the interface thing can be achieved with skins for firefox and i m sure there is an add on that can replace the keyboard shortcuts stuff as well as mouse gestures if you insist though i find that feature useless unless you have a touchscreen or similar * +

oh i too was a mad fan of Opera until the parsing errors annoyed me before that i loved Safari coz of speed. moved over to chrome and it refused to open my mail then my eyes got opened to FF and the world of addons. and now after using FF and tweaking it just how i want it to act and behave i come across a faster browser. i'll still stick to FF but right now opera looks very tempting. * +

not interested in mouse gestures and all that. just speed and blocking of ads and ofcourse greasemonkey scripts and thats it. the rest i can do without. if only firefox would move out of beta already and give us a stable browser with that cool aero look present in the betas. * +

if you can tell the difference between the 3 browsers then your pc must be getting old. in real terms on a dual core or better you cant tell the diff at all. * +
