what i would do is delete all partitons and create 1 big 1, boot windows and try quick formatting the partition in fat 32. * +

Firstly the drive is 20gb 17gb available to you not 20. Other 3gb the drive use. What partition program did u use? When installing xp delete the partitions then create a new one * +

So its not dead then lol. Its perfectly normall. You dont get the full 20gb. You get that amount you just posted. Delete all partitions and create one big one * +

Cant. after creating partition and when I install in the partition c goes back to 9gig and installation wont progress . *
