y do ppl upgrade lol it's bound to cause problems fresh install is king...and it takes me 20mins to install win 7 ultimate...u have a dinosaur on ur hands there mate * +

I'm using compac presario C300 and d problem i'm getting wit win. 7 is that d system will not voice out again(though d volume control icon will still appear as normal) anytime it comes up 4rm hibernate until d next time i restart d system. It wasn't lik dat initially, and i don't know what happen. Now i installed linux on a partition and when i hibernate 4rm it, d sound system works fine. * +

Thats arleady the problem win7 is the currently one not vista so u restore ur settings to the previous day where it used to work then if u want to upgrade just use window7 server not vista i think that will work 4 u *
