50 core intel cpu based on 22n manufacturing process to bel released in 2011. Maybe i can max out crysis on it if they release a 50 core threaded update patch. * +

its a loooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooong way off being availabe to joe public... they cant even program a ps3 chip properly yet which is of a similar design. it will be 10 or more years b4 you get to see 1 of these babys if at all... due to the fact no sooner did they release the 48 core than they shelved it. * +

Its a server CPU 
nothing to do with consumer products really. Next year you should be able to buy an 8 core for your desktop -sandy bridge- but nothing like this chip here * +

I noticed they managed a 92 core on tested it but they dont have a way to connect it to the rest of the system yet which is what they are trying to figure out now. If they ever do that and i hope soon because how smooth will the internet be if the servers run on 50 to 90 core machines * +

On a ps3 all you need or will get is 30 fps at 1050p resolution thats pretty much low end graphics these days so you dont need much of a cpu to run it then * +

nope the ps3 can do 1080p video playback gt5 is touted as 1080p also. the resilution means nothing its the amount of pollys and shaders that can be drawn that determin gfx quality. * +

Resolution means alot otherwise your polys and shaders drawn would look blurry. Bigger the res the more space on the screen *
