Hi mates,are the coddecs I can install to my Windows Media Player that will support .Vob files?If so where can i download them?I'm using Win 7hb.

You need DVD playback software/codecs such as powerdvd etc. DVD support on free open source players is improving but it's still not complete. Proper DVD playback has NEVER been free, mind you. Anything advertised ''free'' is not. (K-Lite etc. usually contain illegal/pirated codecs) The thing is though that if your comp is a stock build you should have DVD codecs, same for if your drive was a proper boxed one. They rarely come without some bundling. * +

I don't know what complications was said so far in this post but the solution is to download klite mega codec pack. You can play anything with media player 12 than. * +

i agree with carta and windows media player SHOULD be able to play vob files by default. Even my WMP 12 plays vob files out of the box and although i'm using ultimate it should be the same scenario in basic * +

No mates mine doesn't play them,the app that plays them is the Media Player Classic which i hate using,my wish is to use the Media Player for my movies. * +
