depends on yer cpu whether you will get the best out of it, you realy will need an intel quad at 2.6 or better or an amd quad @3.0 but thats just my opinion for a ballanced system that shouldnt bottleneck. * +

if it was me id try an find a second hand q6600 if ur mobo supports it save some money upgrading it * +

probably not worth swapping platforms for a CPU upgrade. if you can push your CPU further then that would help but if not a 5770 would still be a big bump over what you have now * +

Get the 5770. It'll definately give you better performance than the 9500GT. After you use it a little and think you need you need a CPU than just buy a new CPU. You'd already have your 5770 than. See? Eventually you'd have to buy a new GPU so buy it now. Better than replacing your CPU first. * +
