4890 never beats a 5850 it loses more with mature 5850 drivers too now. time was 4890s went for about 135 pounds, which was an epic price but then you can get a 1GB GTX460 now for about 170 so its alright * +

advancetech is selling the 768 gtx 460 for 144 all in spartan... so its even better value lol. * +

i think its worth the extra 24 quid for the 1Gb version tho the 768 will be at least as fast as a 4890 *
