Help not sure if i can fix this or if hard drive is faild my laptop wont load past the title screen its a fujitsu simens running windows xp it recotnises the modem an mouse but wont load please help thanks * +

turn on and hit f8 that should load up the boot selector, you should ahve a half dozen options for loading windows, select load safe mode. if windows boots then you have a driver or software issue. you will need to unnstall the last program u installed b4 the lappy crashed. if it dosent work do the same again except select last good config from the boot menu, and it that fails select system restor * +

if that fails you will have to go to the fujitsu site and get a recovery disk/o.s. image (nake a didk from that if you have another pc, if not then you will have to get an xp disk and reinstall. if you reinstall make sure you get all the gfx, sound,motherboar, ethernet drivers from the fujitsu site and use them to reinstll your system. * +

Does it make a kinda whistling noise when it cuts out? Mite have overheated, it is quite an old machine too, have you cleaned it out recently of dust, or at all? * +

put your windows disk in and boot from your ROM and recover from there. * +

It came back on again 2day but froze think it needs 2 be repaired * +
