most core 2's are worth overclocking as long as you have a decent cooler. The best time to think about an Oc is when you are thinking about an upgrade. Cos you can get a performance bump and allow you to hold off a bit longer * +

What do you do with your coreduo? If its gaming no but if u get a quad or higher u wont hav to go for a upgrade for a long time. so you can wait till amd and intel is at it again so u can pick up a upgrade cheaper * +

O.C is always worth it but you need an aftermarket cooler or you gonna cook the processor. *
