I went on holidays but share a house with someone else so changed my computer password so she couldnt start up my computer and have a snoop around on it (all my p*rn lol) ive got back and forgot what i changed it to. how do i unlock my computer now? any suggestions? * +

Lol nah didnt steal it. its got my name as the user and i still have the recipt from when i bought it. i know what i used when i changed the password but not the exact password itself. It was my fav football club and the year it was founded but im thinking i must have typoed the new pw when i changed it. * +

go to your nearest cybercafe and download 'Hiren's boot disk' its 280mb large burn it to a cd or usb then insert it in your locked computer,choose windows password reset option,follow instructions that's all you unlocked your pc * +

Or you could boot up in safe mode and log in as system admin . Then go to user accounts and remove the password for your account . * +

On the log on screen press alt control and del 2times, log in as administrator, then change ur user acount password *
