its a good drive. if its a sata 3 drive there woll be very few drives that could touch it. * +

jay i can either take a seagate sata2 1tb 32mb cache or this western digital sata3 640gb 64mb cache. which one its the same price.plz jay help.or anyone that knows what he is talking about. * +

He's already answered your question, you'd only choose the Seagate if you need the extra storage. * +

I'd go for the seagate one, you won't realy notice the speed difference whatever you're doing and it's got more storage space. * +
