What are the makes and the native resolutions of it? You asked the difference bout the two said nothin bout buying 27 inch monitoRs. The lcd one has a bigger native resolution hence its more expensive. Then what gpu do u hav to run it at its native resolution for best gfx quality * +

In short.. LED technology is better as it doesn't require a back light that LCD does giving you much better contrast between colours and overall better picture display. However it is very expensive the latest standard is full-array 3D ready. If you are talking more about monitors for a computer then LCD TFT is most common and best value for money just make sure you check your Video adapter (integrated or expansion) to see if it outputs DVI-I or DVI-D * +
