I got a simple question hope i can get a friendly answer to this. Ok lets say your gpu waits for the cpu then its the cpu that bottlenecks? Otherway around then the gpu will bottleneck? So here we sit with fast cpus and gpus that do two trillion floating point operations per second. If the game runs bad one blame the other its either a cpu or gpu bottleneck right? But what will all those power help if pci express x32 has a max transfer rate of 8,000mb per second? A x16 half of that? * +

im not saying its like the above im just curious about it because i have noticed sometimes you get low fps. Nudge the cpu a few up with its clock rates its gone. cpu bottleneck maybe? But then i thought pci-e is a point to point serial connection. Serial slower than parallel? Not with pci-e because the higher your clock are the faster it can go. So what i want to know am i way off or it could be maybe be part of the problem holding the gpu back? As i asked answer in a friendly manner please. Its * +
