http://www.divx.com/divx/windows/ and download divx, install all the components and your problem will be solved * +

what o.s you using lee?. as said it could well be a codec issue, but you have to be carefull with which pack you install, and only use 1 set, i found the xp codec pack best for xp. k-lite has more but some arnt very good quality. if you use nero or other recoding apps you may find that some codec packs conflict. so finding out which are missing may be a better solution than just grabbing an all in * +

1 solution. to find out which you have or are missing go to start/run and type msinfo32 / +components +multimedia /audio/video codecs just click on 1 or the other and you will see a list of currently installed 1s. real player should be there also if its working. * +

FFDSHOW is the only external set you need. also MPC-HC, SMPlayer, VLC. They use internal filters and codecs, except mpc-hc is also the standard player for running anything external and that's why it's included in majority of codec packs. * +
