Is it possible to format/install windows in the same drive where windows is installed using image loaded on visual drive ? * +

The second it shuts down or reboots, the virtual drive is also killed off. Besides the installer doesn't run inside the OS in the first place. * +

if you have a dump stick use that as a bootable install drive. you can do it easy enough with win7 * +

You can install Windows 7 straight from the virtual if you launch it from there obviously but not format * +

possibly, using a ramdisk that creates after bootup and loads image into ram, but then you need alot of ram and I not sure you can create a ram disk that size anyway.... but in theory yes its possible * +

@Jay can you suggest a software to convert win 7 image to usb stick ? I had once tried it but took such a long time to compile on stick so dropped that idea . Dont remember its name now * +
