no ram disk isnt software, but it been long time since I had to set up 1, and 3gb ram will be pushing your luck the alternative is format and create 2nd partition, copy the disk to the second partition, use boot disk and run setup from that. * +

if you want to extract the files from the iso then use winrar it works well enough. or just mount it and drag them into a folder ready to be put on the dumpstick. * +
