Iv got a region 2 Dvd player and iv got sum region 1 Dvds now the region 1 Dvds play in my Dvd player and the player aint been chipped or anything cause i brought it from Argos so i went and brought megazone 23 from play.com its region 1 but when i put it in it wont play just gives me a blank screen says prohibited by area limitations now why would it play the other region 1 dvds iv had * +

From play.com the only thing i can see on the case is that megazone 23 says region 1 ntsc and the other just say region 1 on there cases * +

you think you got problems? my dvd player wont play any original dvd's, if i want to watch a movie i have to copy it first, then it'll play. lol * +

I got Dvd shrink but iv heard if you put a region 1 Dvd you only have so many turns before it locks completly to what ever region was last used and i dont want that to happen * +
