My computer just went off and now won't reboot back up,not even in safe mode. Anybody got any ideas? * +

It said it went off unexpectedly and may have been caused by a recent install. The fan comes on,goes through the checks then comes up with that error. When it says start up in last known setting it does it all again and asks if i want to start in safe mode, safe mode with networking or safe mode with something else. I was putting music on my ipod * +

boot of your cd/dvd disk and select repaire install. if its xp, if its vista or win7 then use the reapire options given on the disk.. * +

Have managed to get safe mode by removing usb plugins,now doing system restore and may boot from cd after to repair anything that is corrupt. *
