Hi guys! right my Dell Inspiron 1525 keeps freezing up on the home page and when I'm browsing the internet. I have updated the BIOS, checked the registry, and cleaned out the fan, but still continues to freeze. On the main screen it tells me my battery needs replacing, but continues to charge up. Now I have taken out the battery, and just using the AC mains, the problem seems to have stopped... *

is the battery causing it to short circuit resulting in the laptop to completely freeze? Thanks *
