Hi guys ive just got the full version of fraps as i want to record my gameplays, then i saw a problem while recording Audiosurf it was a max of 60Fps now with faps on but not recording i'm getting 160Fps plus.. How come when recording i get 60 i'm seen people recording on youtube n its shown way over 60fps * +

As far as i know the maximum fraps can record is 60 frames a second. why would you need more? videos showing more were recorded with the GAME framerate unlocked and the recording can still show the framerate at that time, but fraps is still only recording 60 frames itself * +

Ah ok, Also it will only record for 2mins n 19secs n then makes a second video.. Can you make it just record for as long as you want * +

Like on Mattlefield Mad Company Max Setting i get 60 to 70Fps but when recording it shows 37fps * +

Its probably reaching a maximum file size. when you record an intensive game then the framerate will often drop dramatically because FRAPs requires resources itself and has to write a lot of data to the hard drive especially at full screen resolutions and maximum speed * +

Ah so if was was to drop from 1080p to say 720p i'd be able to record longer on Ausiosuft Battlefield Bad Company * +

Audiosurf * +

i cant say entirely but look at the file sizes of all the videos that have topped out? if they are all the same size then there is obviously a file size limit. reducing the resolution and framerate of the captures will naturally chop down the size significantly * +
