i am building a gaming pc. i already got a gaming case,keyboard and mouse.450w power supply.a msi 890gxm-g65 motherboard.23.6 inch full hd screen.what else should i get?planning amd1055t cpu,ati 5770 and trancsend ddr3 2000. is it worth it and will power be enough? * +

the power supply is a little weak the cpu is not realy necisary for a gaming rig as a quad is what most new games will use for the next 2-3 years. the ram is pointless unless your doing productivity. theres very little difference in performance from 1333 to 2000+ ram in the benchmarks certainly it dosent warrent the price hike. and the ati 5770 is a little weak to run games at max settings at * +

hd 1080p rez. it would be a very unballance cpu heavy pc. for games. if your doing productivity as i said the 6 cores would serve a purpose but atm id definatly say its overkill for gaming. * +

not to mention the price of parts containing gold are rediculous atm. ram is about x2 as expencive as it should be. * +

If it is for gaming im with jay here. ditch the six core and overkill memory speed for better graphics * +

im less than enthralled by the motherboard 2, it realy is a bit of a hoch potch with some very nice new features but som basic design errors, like a 4pin atx that realy should be an 8 pin for multicore oc'n it is an sli board but is virtualy a micro atx size. meaning if you want to put in a sound card and 2 dule slot gpu's you cant. add to that it has unneeded igp (as you want a dedicated card, i * +

would look for another larger board with more pci and pci-e slots or just genraly more space to sit other companents that wind there way into a gaming pc. * +

over all your looking at 250+ watts alone for the cpu and gfx so your realy wanting to look at the 550 to 650 range on wattage for the psu. the reason i say this is that the 890 chipset begs to overclock with the rite chip it could work wonders. so more power MORE POWER.... * +
