When i boot my laptop, startup repair runs automatically and then displays 'windows cannot repair this computer automatically'. I use vista and it was fine last night but today it's been a right arse. Does anyone know a way around this problem? Cheers * +

I've never powered off though, always let os shut down and when i cancel the startup repair it carries on regardless, then after it finishes i'm left with only one option and that is to turn off as i can't system restore * +
