(via control panel) iam curious how accurate is this scoring anyone know? the reason I ask is because I have 2 laptops here. a compaq cq60 with 3gb ram, 250gb hitachi hd and an amd athlon x2 qL65 processor running windows vista premuim and intergrated nvidia graphics. * +

its an acer aspire 7720. now the curious thing is, is that windows is giving the compaq a better score than the acer which surprises me. surely the core2 cpu and 4gb of ram is faster than the compaq? * +

compaq = vista premuim. acer = windows 7 premuim. acer assumingly more powerfull but compaq showing higher windows performance score. either amd are under rated or the scoring is naff? * +
