My pc start only when i take out the cmos battery and put in.. but when i turn off and turn on again doesnt boot up no beeps, only black screen.. the fan is working.. * +

i changed the battery with a new one but still get the problem.. what is the possible problem.. when i take out the battery and put it again its working.. but when restart again i got the problem. pls help * +

possably a bad connection on the motherboard sumwhere, check all the leads, reseat the cpu if you dont know what your doing take it to sum1 who does. * +

yip disconnect everything on the inside of the box take out the ram everything. take out cmos battery leave it for a few minutes put everthing back together and replace battery * +

My problems is am us compaq pentium4 n wen it starts booting in the bios vision u see everything.immediately it moves from the bios vision then the screen go off but the fun wil be working.i hav changed the processor n the memories bt still.what is the problem n what do i do * +
