My schoolmate has an hp desktop. Processor's phenom 2x3 don't know the exact model and complete specs but he can't oc. I know you can't oc a pre built machine but Will a bios flash let him oc? * +

if you can get into the bios then an oc should be possable. if hp have a bios specificaly designed then a hardware oc is impossable as they would just remove the options to adjust the clocks. so your left with a software oc. meaning amd overdrive. * +

i mean there's the fsb and multiplier in bios but it cant be changed. * +
