the dvd-s are satalite, while the dvb-T is terestrial digital. S for satalite tv cahnnels needing a dish, T for terestrial tv needing an ordinary tv antenna... * +

the statalite 1 can be tuned to any free station that you can turn a dish to as long as its within frequencey of the card and sat signal reciever. the terestrial 1 wil pick up local ground based channels only. if your country does digital then you will get around 40+ channels on the dvb-t, if you take the dvb-s or s2(hd) you will get all the free to air channels that your dish can pick up. * +

as your in nigeria i would recomend the dvb-s its roughly the same price for the card, a little more for a dish and reciver... all in less than 100 pounds. * +
