The principle would inevitably work if the costing structure could hold up your spending capacity... domain fees, website and admin fees, shipping fees. just those would require quite a payment, the question is, would you be looking to make money ? that would be an obvious reason, unless like sergey brin you just wish to test your idea and hope it blooms into the next generation hit list. * +

i wouldn't really be looking to make money, but i would like to test it out. maybe sell it to someone who would be able to sell ad space and maybe make it flourish... of course i would ask for certain royalties * +

okay well, places like gumtree.co.za have a swopping area and so do quite a few other sites. guess you would really need a database to start off. I personally don't see this going anywhere.... * +
