hi guys thanks for the replyies! You guys are awersome! Il first do as vho said and get me a firewall that way will first block whats going in and out! Iv got windows vista not xp..doubt its updates i suspect its perhaps that cr*p svchost or malware or sometin..all my updates switched off but will recheck..man thanks a mil guys! Whats the best free firewall for me to get hmmm? * +

No not switch of at the tick the disable on but in services. Disable error reportin and widows update service because error reportin will also connect and do updates *
