no real need for the card if you have win7 ultimate as you can use software raid. as long as your pc is up to scratch that is. *

ita a bit of a pain to setup first time round but does work and theres little difference between hardware and software versions if your pc is up to it ... ie core 2 duo 2.6 and up. *
