People do need a slap or two in the face for not using their machines securely enough or at all

Also weak security and low-grade usage habits are a direct result of neglecting new users by not advising and educating them sufficently enough or at all. Getting a computer/smart device and internet access are mindless operations that are served AS IS. Awareness of security still often comes from optional sources and user's own research. * +
