it seems to be working fine . copied 820gb music over very fast from the outgoing drives . would have got a wd green , but for 45 pound , was a steal * +

lucky u. right now i'm trying to hunt down a cheap 320 or 500gb hard drive and it aint easy having a tight budget of about R600 * +

so even taking da max 55 pounds and multiplying by 12 to get teh rands here in S.A.. adding 60 bucks should get me a terabyte hard drive but it would be a miracl eto even get a 250GB portable here for that price... * +

i have 2 of em and no they dont make any noise other than the drive ticking when its working. even then its hardly audiable over low speed fans. they are 2 platter drives so they shuld be all but silent. * +
