my laptop overheats if its been on for 20 mins or more, plus the battery doesnt last for longer than say 2 to 3 hours before it needs a charge. so how does this ipad work, surely its so thin so would overheat and does anyone know how long the battery lasts for? * +

Its processor is low power so it doesnt get hot enough to need a fan. passive cooling, if any. As the CPU is low power then the battery will last a long time. 8hours + * +
