Hi mates,after i have uninstalled a program,in my program files there are still folders belonging to the removed programs so is it safe for me to delete those program files too? I'm using windows 7 hb

it is safe to delete the files and then use a reg cleaner like ccleaner, revo uninstaller is pretty good as it removes most if not all traces including reg entrys. * +

ccleaner should pick up most of the relevant and broken entries. it may not pick up everything left by a single program but it will pick up anything that is broken, outdated and pointing to non-existent content etc. that's enough for me. *
